I’m new to press-ons, where should I start?

Welcome! You’re in the right place.
The first step is sizing your nails. You can do this with a free Sizing Kit or with the DIY method outlined on that page. Once you’ve sized your nails, you can order a signature set or request a custom set that I’ll design based on your inspiration photos.

Do I need a sizing kit?

Yes, it’s highly recommended.
When a nail doesn’t fit quite right, it can leave small gaps where water and air get trapped which can lead to lifting, reduced wear time, and even potential damage to your natural nails. A perfectly fitted press-on hugs your nail securely, creating a smooth seal that not only looks more natural but also helps keep your nails healthy underneath.

Your nail shape and length affect how each tip fits, and a free Sizing Kit helps you find your exact measurements before ordering.

You can also use the DIY method listed on the Sizing Kit page to measure at home, but please note that refunds or exchanges aren’t available for sizing errors.

How do I order?

Can I request a custom shape or length?

Absolutely!
You can choose your preferred shape and length when ordering, and I’ll adjust the design accordingly. Every shape and length is thoughtfully customized so you’ll always get a balanced, well-composed design.

What materials do you use?

I use 100% non-toxic gel polish on high-quality full cover soft gel nail tips.
Each set is painted with multiple layers of gel and cured between coats for maximum strength and durability.

How long do press-ons last?

With proper application and care, your nails can last up to 3 weeks when applied with glue. If you prefer sticky tabs for temporary wear, they’ll last about 1–2 days, making them perfect for events, photoshoots, or weekend looks.

Can I reuse my nails?

Yes!
If you remove them gently and clean off the adhesive, you can reuse your set multiple times.

What’s included with each order?

Each nail set includes:
- 10 custom-sized nails
- Application kit (glue, sticky tabs, cuticle stick, nail file, nail buffer, and alcohol pad).

How long does it take to get my order?

Each set is handmade to order.
Current processing time is 5 to 10 business days, plus shipping.

I’ve tried press-ons from the drugstore and they didn’t last. Are these different?

Drugstore press-ons are mass-produced with designs printed on thin plastic.
Our sets are handmade with professional-grade gel, multiple cured layers, and custom sizing which means no gaps, no lifting, and a fit that feels completely natural. They’re designed to last longer and look more polished than anything off the shelf.

Why are these more expensive than drugstore press-ons?

Each Nail Your Colors set is designed, hand-painted, and sized specifically for you.
Drugstore nails are mass-produced overseas, while our nails are handcrafted, one set at at time. With 10+ years of experience as a professional artist, I put the same attention to detail into these as I do my animation design work. Each set is priced to reflect the time and care that make these long lasting and unique.

Where are your nails made?

Every set is hand-painted in Los Angeles, California, by me, Lee Ann.
